Front Porch Music Therapy is a traveling company dedicating to providing meaningful music therapy services to communities across the U.S. Music Therapy is an evidenced-based practice facilitated by a Board-Certified Music Therapy that uses music in many forms for addressing goals. People of all ages and abilities can benefit from this type of therapy. Front Porch Music Therapy offers singular in-person music therapy groups great for team building, self-care retreats, camps or facility events as well as specializes in personalized heartbeat recording keepsakes.

Owner of FPMT, Gianna, is a board-certified Music Therapist and Neurologic Music Therapist who has worked in both private practice and in hospitals. Gianna took to the road, traveling the country in a camper with her husband and senior dog when she founded FPMT!

About our name: At a hospital where Gianna worked, long-term patients were placed together to decrease agitation and increase quality of life. Gianna provided regular music therapy groups and slowly staff began referring to the hall as the "the front porch." Where there was once isolation, patients were given the chance to socialize and community bloomed a new sense of hope and joy. Front Porch Music Therapy hopes to continue the work of bringing people together and sparking connection.
